1. Duration of the warranty:

VoltFiets provides a 2-year warranty on all parts of the fat bike, starting from the date of purchase.

2. Covered components:

The warranty covers all parts of the fat bike, including but not limited to the frame, wheels, gears, brakes and electrical components.

3. Exclusions:

The warranty does not cover damage resulting from crashes, accidents or other user-induced errors.
General wear and tear of the battery from regular use is not covered by the warranty.

4. Claims process:

To make a warranty claim, the customer must provide proof of purchase showing the date of purchase and the relevant invoice.
Customers should contact VoltFiets through the customer service channels provided for guidance through the claims process.

5. Evaluation and solution:

VoltFiets will assess each warranty claim on a case-by-case basis.
Damage covered by the warranty will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of VoltFiets.
Repairs or replacements are carried out with original VoltFiets parts or components.

Free repair within the warranty service (if eligible) is only offered in VoltFiets Workshop in Haarlem

6. Limitations:

The warranty is non-transferable and only applies to the original purchaser of the fat bike.
Any changes or modifications made to the fatbike by the customer may void the warranty.

7. Customer Responsibilities:

Customers are responsible for proper maintenance and care of their fatbike to ensure optimal performance.
In the event of a problem, customers are required to immediately report the problem to VoltFiets and follow the recommended resolution procedures.

8. Applicable law:

This warranty policy is governed by Dutch law.

Warranty is excluded for:

Aesthetic damage, such as scratches and fall damage.
Normal wear and tear.
Bicycles that have been ridden faster than 25 km/h (legal maximum).
Bicycles to which parts have been added or repaired in a store other than VoltFiets BV
Bicycles equipped with throttles that provide assistance above 6 kilometers per hour.
Parts whose lifespan has expired, for example: Brake pads used and worn out.
